I couldn't agree more. I've lived abroad in London, Amsterdam, Thailand and China. My life in China was so EASY. Food is incredibly cheap, internet is practically free and lightening fast, the streets are clean and people generally seem happy and friendly-even towards Americans. Of course people aren't "free" to waste time on Facebook and Instagram but I didn't miss it. Besides, VPNs, while officially "banned" are easy to connect to.
